    To clear this one up. This happened in Russia. This is an ‘elite CS team’. They were given an unknown challenge to play a match against a Chinese team with a hidden obstacle. They agreed, but they didnt expect that the hidden challenge would be 3 girls stripping in front of them. I think you can find the full gallery on englishrussia.com. The funny thing is, when the girls dropped all clothes, some of the guys were still totally ignoring them, devoted to the game.

    Russian is not a race. They are part of a race called Caucasian, which, incidentally has its name derived from the Caucasus mountains in southern Russia. Yes, I was joking about the whores part. It’s just a stereotype that Russian women are gold-digging whores. The noses do look Russian though—there’s nothing racist about that.

The match is actually between two Russian teams, and the strip was organized by a natural model whose boyfriend is a gamer, to show them they are more important then a game (the girls failed, btw).     It wasn’t an “impression”, this was in Russia. Gamers will recognise the story from a few years ago (hence the CRT monitors). It was the national WCG finals, and to spice it up the tournament organisers hired strippers to ‘caress’ the players mid-game, and everyone got a good laugh about how the gamers tried to ignore them so that they could win the game. The strippers got more interviews afterwards than the gamers, with most being amazed that “the gamers just completely ignored me, wtf?!”

    No, I play WoW. I have three characters on WoW, two alliance an one horde. (Horde v Alliance, blah, blah, blah I don’t care. I don’t PvP anyways.) My fiance and I play together when we can’t see each other. We don’t play together when we’re in the same room though. Especially not if sex is an option.

    No topic is sacred Nomad. Sure there are situations where certain jokes are inappropriate, but all jokes have a time and place, even if you disagree with the content. This is by no means racism or any other form of discrimination. All stereotypes are rooted in some amount of truth, whether it is true in that case is irrelevant. Yes, you are right in a way. Racism is bound inextricably to stereotyping but that doesn’t mean that all stereotypes that indicate race are going to be racist. There aren’t many black and white things in this world but humor is one of them. Their reasons are just as valid as yours, but we can’t ask them to do anything differently, we can simply advocate racial sensitivity.     sometimes it’s not doable with one of those gamers. Though mine was extreme, no job, not thinking of drinking till i told him(4in the afternoon).

    We schedule time for raids. Have you people never heard of compromise? It’s not an always/never thing. It’s a “now we are gaming, now we’re having sex,” thing. We have an agreement that we are carrying in to our marriage- no more than 2 hours a night on a game unless it’s a raid night. It’s all about priorities- the relationship first, WoW second. If either one of us is in dire need of attention, we port to an inn and the game goes off. It’s not that hard.

    And if you constantly put off sex for video games, when are you having sex? Besides, the game will still be there later, too. And your raiding buddies won’t support you in life like a happy spouse.

    this event was actually held in Russia. It was a counter strike tournament and the director of the tournament hired Stippers to try and distract the gamers… sadly it didn’t work.
